Encompass Project

Our school is part of a project that runs in partnership with Bolton Safeguarding Children Partnership and Greater Manchester Police.

This is a statutory requirement on the Police to notify Education settings of domestic abuse incidents where there are children related to either of the adult parties involved.

At Sunning Hill our Key Adults are our designated safeguarding leads (known as DSL’s):

·         Miss Whalley – Head teacher

·         Mrs Rawlinson – Deputy Head teacher

·         Mrs Torpey – Assistant Head teacher

·         Mrs Diggle – Assistant Head teacher

·         Mrs Atkinson-Bothwell – School Business Manager

They will be able to use information that has been shared with them, in confidence, to ensure that we are able to support children and their families.

We always endeavour to offer the best support possible to our pupils and believe that Operation Encompass is beneficial and supportive for all concerned children and families.
